De-Essing your SHHH-*t
De-Essing is a way to control the vocals in a song . It is a very unique tool. It gives you the opportunity to change the impact of vocals that peak past the 2-kHz frequency range. However, it does’t change any other part of the vocals, which is extremely important to how a vocal clip can end up sounding after a full compression.
